Minnesota State Community and Technical College operates four campuses and serves near 10,000 students in credit courses per semester. MSCTC offers more than 120 career and liberal arts programs along with custom training programs through community partnerships. The fours campus locations are Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena. Additionally, MSCTC offers online courses and programs.

MSCTC boasts small class sizes and a diverse mix of programs to make the educational experience of students as engaging as possible. Each campus has its own mix of courses, history and culture; but all of them offer quality education. Vocational certificates and diplomas are offered alongside 2 year degrees, and transfer programs.

Admissions and Financial Aid

Students interested in attending MSCTC should apply online, submit high school and college transcripts, present immunization forms if they graduated high school before 1997, schedule assessment testing for placement, register for classes at the scheduled time, and pay all tuition fees.

MSCTC offers financial aid assistance through its financial aid department, Interested students should inquire at the office and work with a representative to find the financial aid solutions that best work for him or her. All students applying for financial aid are required to fill out and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Athletics

The athletics teams at MSCTC are referred to as the Spartans and are members of the National Junior College Athletics Association.
