
Northern New Mexico College is a comprehensive institution that serves both Hispanic and Native Americans in Española and El Rito, New Mexico. It is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools to award two-year and four-year degree programs in any of the following areas: business administration, teacher education, nursing, radiography, biology, and engineering.
With the goal to help students succeed, NNMC provides affordable and holistic learning opportunities to diverse populations in response to the educational, cultural and economic needs of the community. In total, there are about 70 Baccalaureate Degree, Associate Degree and Certificate programs offered for the students under the following colleges: Arts and Sciences; Community, Workforce & Career Technical Education; Education; Nursing and Health Sciences; and Developmental Studies.
Focused on the students, this school provides them with the necessary skills and guides them to determine and realize their goals through its academic programs, non-curricular activities and administrative support. NNMC also offers online courses delivered in an effective and timely manner. Career workshops and trainings for continuing education, and dual credit programs are also available in this college.
Graduates are assisted in finding the right opportunities and achieving their goals by individual consultations, job application basic training, assessment, career exploration, job postings and career fairs every year.
