Admissions and Financial Aid
Quinsigamond Community College is an open enrollment institution that allows any student that meets the minimum requirements for admission to enroll by completing the application and paying all associated fees and tuition. Students enrolling at QCC should also provide transcripts and standardized test scores. And the absence of one or both may require the student to take a placement exam prior to registration. Students are encouraged to participate in orientation as it provides useful information for beginning one's campus life, and students should also consider making an appointment with a counselor to discuss program enrollment and curriculum.
Financial aid is available in the form of loans, grants and scholarships. Students in need of financial assistance must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the information provided from which is used by QCC to determine the student's financial need and aid program eligibility when compiling their aid packet. Financial aid must be reapplied for prior to the start of each academic year and students may be chosen at random by the school to supply additional tax information in order to compare to the student's FAFSA to verify its accuracy as per new federal regulations governing the disbursement of funds.
