Red Rocks Community College is located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Lakewood, Colorado. Every year, about 14,000 students enroll at one of RRCCs two campuses; the college also has a campus in Avanda, CO.
One special feature of this school, is a childcare center that doubles as a training center for Early Childhood Education Students. More information about this program can be found at http://www.rrcc.edu/childcare/general.html. This program is available to staff, students, and members of the community. Students also enjoy access to a fitness center when they enroll in one credit elective classes. The fitness center offers a training class to prepare students for the personal training certification test.
