Windward Community College is located in Kaneohe, Hawaii on the island of O'ahu.  WCC was founded in 1972 to provide a variety of educational opportunities for residents on the island. The school maintains close ties to the community, holding annual festivals and being repository of Hawaiian culture and an educator of Hawaiian history.  Windward CC is one of ten campuses of the University of Hawaii System that operates all public post secondary institutions in the state.

Windward Community College offers a number of programs that allow students to pursue academic and career opportunities. Career training programs provide an education in a field or industry that allows for entry as a qualified professional upon completion. Programs take between one and two years to complete and result in a degree or certificate.
