Richmont Graduate University

1815 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN

Richmont Graduate University, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee and Atlanta, Georgia, is the product of the merger of two schools in 2000. The Chattanooga Bible Institute was founded in 1933, providing training, counseling, resources and support for clergy of all denominations. The Psychological Studies Institute was formed in 1973 in Atlanta by Christian mental health professionals seeking to find ways to integrate faith into counseling. With the merger of these two schools, Richmont Graduate University was formed, operating through both campuses and growing rapidly.

Richmont Graduate University offers masters level education in a very specific set of subjects. The goal of the school is to train counselors and psychologists within a Christian context, and recently the training of pastors through a new ministry program. The school has a high number of graduates working as counselors all over the United States and abroad.
