I went to this school for two years and got my associates degree in medical assisting. I graduated 2 months ago and I still do not have a job. A lot of the places they sent me for interviews did not want to hire me due to no experience. I am bilingual and professional. I had good grades and worked hard.

I am glad I choose CHCP. The programs are not that long and I am looking forward for the day of my graduation as a Surgical Technician.

I graduated in 2006 from the LMRT program. I have been employed ever since. The school equipped me to work in the healthcare field. I am very proud that I went to this school and I am glad for this type of school. I am amazed at how much my life has changed and there is a huge demand for LMRTs right now.

I agree with the post about being mindful of anonymous posts. I have had a GREAT experience with CHCP. Without the instructors, I don't know what I would do. They've shown a true interest in my success and I cannot wait to show them what I can do!

Please be mindful of anonymous posts when making your decision on whether or not to attend a program at CHCP. It is obvious the remarks made by these students were out of anger, but why? Could it possibly be they were failing, or maybe had been reprimanded for attendance? When you attend school, you are attending to better yourself, to be able to provide for yourself and family. Who cares if somebody wears something you think is inappropriate. Ask yourself, is it hurting you or someone else? Is it inhibiting you from receiving your education? I am writing this as a former student and graduate of 2005 from the LMRT program. When I attended, LMRTs were not even heard of and I thought, ok well I am here and I will make the best of it. I completed the program, 2 weeks after completing my extern I was hired at my extern location. I continue to work there today and currently earn $24.50 per hour. If I had listened to all of the negativity from others about how I will never be hired anywhere because I was "just an LMRT", I would have missed out on my blessings. Anyway just keep in mind that with any higher learning institution, YOU GET OUT OF IT WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT. Live by those words and you will be successful at anything you do. LH (class of 2005)
