Located within New Castle in Pennsylvania, the School of Nursing – Jameson Health System is a private nursing school located within downtown area thus making it very accessible to both student and faculty members. With its mission to admit students who are qualified in the nursing program as well as empower graduates and the local community, it is no wonder why the school is considered as one of the best nursing schools in New Castle.
Currently, the school is approved for Veterans Education and is also approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) which means that the school provides exemplary instructions to its nursing students. In fact, graduates from the Jameson Health System easily find employment with the help of the placement program offered by the school.
Students who wish to take the nursing program in Jameson Health System need to pass a scholastic aptitude test (SAT) and American college test (ACT) simultaneously in order to qualify for a spot in the program. Moreover, students are also required to take general biology and chemistry in high school.
Students are required to take 13 credits maximum per semester before they are considered as full-time students. Regarding the tuition fee rate, the cost is $210 per credit non-inclusive of the student insurance as well as other liability fees.
