MCI Institute of Technology in West Palm Beach, FL, is a private, less-than2-year college that awards sub-baccalaureate degrees. Founded in 2001 at Lake Worth by Thomas P. Kilianski, the current main campus on 45th Street in West Palm Beach has satellite campuses in Wabasso Dr. in WPB and also in Boca Raton. The Boca Raton campus will only be home to the Cosmetology and Full Specialist with Body Treatments programs.
The main campus in WPB offers diverse programs such as massage therapy, Automotive Service Technology, Medical Assistant and Pharmacy Technician, among others. The institute is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education (CIE), Florida Department of Education and accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE).
All of MCI’s students received financial aid in 2012, primarily in the form of student loans. 94% of the students also received assistance in the form of scholarships and grants.
The MCI Institute of Technology is a Diamond Sponsor of the famed Palm Beach International Raceway. In addition, it is VA approved and offers ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certified Training seal of approval on its automotive courses.
