
Mercy- St. Luke’s School of Radiologic Technology offers an outstanding education program through the use of clinical education and comprehensive techniques. A career in radiologic technology is rewarding and offers many exciting opportunities.
The program is sponsored by Mercy Medical Center and St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This full-time program requires 24 months of study to earn the Radiologic Technology certificate. Through a sharing agreement with Kirkwood Community College (KCC), students will earn an AAS degree. The school is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Students who want to apply to the program need an academic degree or will have to complete 16 semester hours of credit to meet residency requirements. Students may choose to complete all of their coursework at KCC. The prerequisite courses can be completed in two semesters. Graduate of Mercy-St. Luke’s School of Radiologic Technology are eligible to take the national certification examination. This exam is administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
