Muhlenberg Harold B. & Dorothy A. Snyder Schools - School of Imaging and Therapeutic Science has three programs under its umbrella: Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology and Diagnostic Medical Sonography. These programs are designed to provide high quality educational opportunities in healthcare for the residents of the northern and central New Jersey.

The School of Radiography is a hospital-based program accredited by the Joint Review Committee in Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the NJ Radiographic Technology Board of Examiners (NJRTBE).  It is affiliated with various hospitals, medical centers, healthcare facilities and offices within the state. This school provides a Diploma in Radiography and an Associate in Science degree from the Union County College, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the Thomas Edison College through articulation agreements.

Established in 1998, the School of Nuclear Medicine Technology certificate program that can be finished in 13 months. This program allows students to gain initial credits for an Associate or Bachelor’s degree for transfer to the Union County College. The newest program in this college is the School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography founded in 2003. This 20-month certificate program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP).

In all these programs, students are given the opportunity to have real-world training in ideal settings, specifically in the JFK Medical Center,which offers high quality healthcare services and state-of-the-art technology. The campus located in Plainfield also provides an innovative environment conducive to learning with the following facilities: clinical laboratories, radiologic/ nuclear medicine technology/ diagnostic medical sonography laboratory, computer laboratory and library. Moreover, flexible class schedules are also offered to meet the diverse educational needs of the students.
