
Ohio Valley General Hospital’s School of Nursing is located in McKees Rock, Pennsylvania. It’s located just outside of Pittsburgh, PA, and is backed up against the Ohio River. It was founded in 1906 and is proud to claim an excellent reputation for providing nursing education of the highest caliber, which enables students to prepare to enter the field of nursing.
The Ohio Valley School of Nursing is accredited by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing (PASBON) as well as the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC), and approved by the Department of Education.
Graduate students of Ohio Valley’s School of Nursing are eligible to sit for the Registered Nursing Licensing exam (NCLEX-RN), which is the same exam that students who graduate from Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) take to enter into nursing practice.
Free tuition scholarships are awarded every year for students who qualify. The full-scholarships amount is worth $25,000.00.
Students of Ohio Valley Hospital School of Nursing RN program are also eligible for a discount from Robert Morris University, which is applied toward completion of the MSN program. Students may also opt to attend La Roche College and are also eligible for a discount toward either a BSN or MSN degree.
