Platt College is a system of schools that offers career focused education and training for a number of high demand fields. The school was founded in 1979 in Tulsa, Oklahoma as one of the first business colleges located west of the Mississippi River. Over the years the school has expanded its focus, offering more programs in a variety of fields, establishing new campuses to serve a larger area and the expansion of previously existing campuses to accommodate newer facilities and increased enrollment. The School currently operates five campuses in Oklahoma.

Platt College offers a number of programs in the areas of allied health, culinary arts and nursing, allowing students to pursue the area of study that best reflects their interests. These programs are taught by an experienced faculty that works to ensure students are prepared with the skills and abilities necessary to seek employment after graduation.  Upon completion of a program students will receive a diploma, certificate, associate’s degree or bachelor’s based on the area studied.

Long Beach Location

The Long Beach branch of Platt College is located at 717 Pine Ave. Close to 150 students graduate from this location annually. This campus provides services for students in the form of flexible courses for individuals who cannot make regular hours, career pathway assistance for students in need of assistance, and job placement opportunities for students after graduation.
