The School of Radiologic Technology first received its accreditation in 1957. The school is located in Washington, Pennsylvania. Radiology is an exciting career. Radiologic Technicians are in demand. The medium salary of radiologic technologist is $54,340. They perform diagnostic imaging examinations, such as x rays, on patients. Typically radiologic technologists work in health care settings. Some work in physicians’ offices or imaging clinics.
The program has started a program in conjunction with California University to offer an Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences. Tuition is $11,000 per year. The program takes two years to complete.
The educational program begins in August and runs for 24 months with seven weeks’ vacation during the course. Total enrollment is limited to a maximum of 30 students (15 senior students and 15 junior students).
The School of Radiologic Technology aims to train entry-level radiographers able to function within the healthcare community. Through their studies, students will become technically competent. Students will apply positioning skills. They will become familiar with using radiation protection.
Application procedures:

- Only complete application files will be accepted.
- All applicants must contact the program office to take a pre-entrance exam, and should obtain a minimum composite percentile of 75.
