About
Davis Applied Technology College, Kaysville, Utah, was established to provide education opportunities in a variety of skill based fields in 1978. The school began Davis Vocational Center as part of the Davis school district, and was expanded through the purchase of and construction upon nearby land in order to be able to increase the amount of programs offered and accommodate the growing enrollment. As a result the Davis Area Vocational Center was established to serve the counties of Davis and Morgan. Over the years the school has gone through several name changes, finally settling upon the current through state legislation.
Academics
Students will be able to choose from a large number of programs, most of which are open year round and allow students to pursue their education at their own pace. Individuals will advance based on ability and demonstration of skill, eventually earning a certificate in their chosen area of study. Some programs may have stricter guidelines. These programs are designed to prepare individuals for long term employment in their chosen field by providing the skills and abilities necessary to enter the workforce.

Admissions and Financial Aid
Davis Applied Technology College admits any individuals that complete the application for admission, pay the associated fees, and provide relevant educational information. Some programs may have additional requirements for admission, including a placement exam. Students are encouraged to meet with an advisor to discuss program enrollment prior to registering for courses. Financial aid is available in the form of loans and grants awarded based on need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
