The Franklin County Career and Technology Center offers an outstanding education for individuals in the Chambersburg, Pennsylvania area. Presently, over 300 adults are attending classes in 30 different concentrations.  The center offers flexibility with both day and evening classes. Parents can attend classes while their children are in school. The opportunities for improving yourself and developing the skills you need at Franklin County Career and Technology Center are endless.

In 1963, the school was founded by local business leaders. They sought to develop a county-wide vocational school. After careful research, building construction was started in 1967.Today, the Franklin County Career & Technology Center is central to offering outstanding education in 21 different trades. The center offers cutting edge training in many fields.

The center offers classes in five areas which include STEM, transportation, health sciences, construction, and sales and service. Construction courses are offered in building construction, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical occupations, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

The Franklin County CTC provides students with access to different student organizations. The school is home to SkillsUSA, DECA - An Organization for Marketing and Supply and Logistics Management, Future Farmers of America, and Health Occupation Students of America.

The center also provides health services that are available to all students.  The school offers First Aid, nursing assessment for illness, nursing intervention for chronic health problems, and physician referrals.

Franklin County Career and Technology Center also has a student run store that grows flowers and vegetables. The store has been going strong for over ten years and provides students with the opportunity to learn how to run a business.
