The W.F. Kaynor Technical High School is located on 43 Tompkins Street in Waterbury, Connecticut. The vocational technical school features high school level career programs that lead to training in automotive collision repair, computer aided drafting, electronics technology, health technology, culinary arts, fashion merchandising, carpentry, hairdressing, and manufacturing. Students who wish to pursue careers as electricians and plumbers can also find their educational needs met at the school.

For post high school graduates, the school offers a licensed practical nurse curriculum. The program, which is offered over three semesters, can be taken at W.F. Kaynor Technical High School as well as five other sites across the state.

The training facility at W.F. Kaynor offers 15 computers for students to use and accommodates 45 enrollees. Manikins are provided for practicing nursing skills and a resource library is included as well.
