The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, located in Palo Alto, California, was founded in 1975 to offer a more holistic approach to the field of psychology. The institute is a private, for profit graduate school offering various programs in or relating to psychology. The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology is a leader in educating clinicians, wellness caregivers and consultants as well as psychological research.
Academics
The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology offers a small selection of graduate programs in the field of psychology, resulting in either a masters or doctoral degree. In addition to the normal campus based education, the institute offers online and partial online programs. The school also offers many research opportunities for interested students.

Admissions and Financial Aid
Students interested in enrolling at the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology must have a bachelor's degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0. Student show do not meet the 3.0 requirement must submit an academic writing sample. Students should contact the school to begin the enrollment process and are encouraged to visit the school and sit in on classes. Financial aid is available to eligible students. To begin the process students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Additional help is provided by the school's financial aid department.
