There are literally hundreds of things to see and do in San Francisco. Take a ride on a trolley or the cable cars for stunning views of the city. Visit Union Square, which was one of San Francisco's original parks and is now surrounded by hotels and elegant shops. Take a stroll down Lombard Street just below Hyde Street for a "crooked" walking experience.
If you enjoy stunning views, see the city and the bay from Coit Tower. For a cultural experience, visit Chinatown and explore the alleys and shops.
Of course everyone should see and walk on The Golden Gate Bridge. The architecture is amazing and it's an experience you'll never forget.
There are many free venues in San Francisco. Some are only free on certain days of the month, while others are continually free. These include:
- Strybing Arboretum and Botanical Gardens
- Fort Point National Historic Site

Be sure to check for free drama performances and concerts in the area. These are especially popular during summer.
