The College prepares graduates for a career in nursing and offers an Associate of Science degree in Nursing. Students that complete the program are eligible to apply for the NCLEX-RN exam. Clinical experiences are offered at major Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS) hospitals (Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center, Olive View-UCLA, Harbor-UCLA, and Rancho Los Amigos Medical Centers) and clinics.

- Unfortunatelly I have to agree with the second reviewer.
Some instructors do not present their material very well in class and on top of that they over-complicate the exam questions.
How does the instructor expect us students to answer the trick exam questions under one minute when they failed to teach us the material properly?
Why is there such a stark difference between instructors and their teaching methodology?
Shouldn't the school have a committee or group overseeing the quality of instruction and exam questions?
I can barely understand the thick accent of Med Surge "instructor" who doesn't give a damn about our questions, let alone be helpful.
The school board needs to seriously look into their instructor's teaching capabilities and exam preparation and pay attention to student's reviews. After all, they are publically funded and the funding can be revoked if the school fails to pass students year after year....

- This school is a joke..
They have by far the toughest curriculum, crazy workload and inflexible teachers.
They only accept A students, but drive them into ground already in the second semester.
They accept 50 students at the beginning of the prg and about 11 graduate at the end.
Their "pride" is that our students pass the NCLEX with 98% accuracy rate...who cares? You can take the NCLEX multiple times.
The Dean of the school needs to make some drastic changes to the program, as it is no longer about education, but proving a point of their ego.
Lots of students live on credit cards and get dropped in the 3rd or 4th semester , thus wasting 2 years of their lives and hopes.
I hope the board of education looks into this and hopefully comes down on them.

- The classes for the 2 year nursing program are very set, with no flexibility. but if you can plan your other schedules around that, you can finish in 2 years with everything you need for a nursing career, which is awesome.
