About

Crimson Technical College, located in Inglewood, California, is a privately owned school dedicated to educating individuals in the art of aviation maintenance. The school was formed in 2008 after a purchase of the campus by the Crimson Aero Corporation. The campus itself has been used by a variety of company's and airlines since the 1930's as a location for education in regards to airplanes and their maintenance.

 

Academics

The program offered is known as the airframe and powerplant program, which lasts approximately a year and a half and provides individuals with knowledge regarding aircraft maintenance in a practical and laboratory setting.  Once the program is completed, graduating students are qualified to take the Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant Exam, the passing of which qualifies the student for an entry level position in the aircraft maintenance industry.

 

Admissions and Financial Aid

Applicants to CTC must be 18 years or older, have basic college level skills and must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Interested applicants should complete the application and submit it along with all transcripts, test scores and fees. Financial aid is available to eligible students. Students in need of financial aid should contact the financial aid office and begin the application process to determine eligibility.
