CollegeAmerica is a system of schools with eight locations in the states of Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona and Idaho. It is a privately owned institution founded in 1964, originally known as Control Data Corporation, which provided computer maintenance, repair and programming options through their Control Data Institute. The system was sold in 1989 and renamed Career Data Institute, eventually becoming CollegeAmerica, which began purchasing new school locations, expanding curriculums and modernizing facilities.
Today CollegeAmerica is a degree granting institution that offers career education in a number of high demand fields. Programs are taught by a qualified and experienced faculty that ensures students will develop skills and abilities necessary through a practical education in order to seek employment upon completion. Graduates will receive an associate’s degree or bachelor’s or master’s, which demonstrates competency and dedication to potential employers.

San Dimas Location
CollegeAmerica – Phoenix is located at 300 N Lone Hill Avenue, #200 in the city of San Dimas. Approximately 130 students graduate from this location yearly. This location provides services for students in the form of flexible scheduling for individuals who cannot make regular hours, remedial education classes for program or licensure preparation, and distance learning options for students who wish to obtain their education online.
