If your calling is caring, then you should find out more about getting training in the lucrative healthcare industry. At Baptist Health System's School of Health Professions, training is offered in various health careers that can help you start on the path to a new career or enhance the one you already have. Degrees, certificates, and diplomas are offered in fields like nursing, surgical technology, healthcare management, and many. Some programs like MRI tech and LVN to RN are meant to build on the education that you already have.
General education classes are necessary for advanced degrees and are available completely online. Most of BSHP's classes are available online, but clinical and lab classes are held on campus in San Antonio, Texas or one of the many local hospitals that BSHP maintains a partnership with.
BSHP offers career placement services; they cannot guarantee placement, but they report an extremely high placement success rate for most programs.
Tuition varies between programs, the AA in nursing, for example, costs around $16,000 and financial aid is available for eligible students. BSHP is a private college, so tuition is the same for in and out-of-state residents.
