For over 100 years, St. Joseph School of Nursing has a proven track record of providing a focused, hospital based diploma program.

The School of Nursing has produced more than 2300 competent professional nurses since 1902 for states throughout the country and around the world. Each graduate is proud of its heritage as a “St. Joes Grad” and takes pride in having the commitment, dedication, and excellence in work.

Located in 200 High Service Avenue in North Providence, Rhode Island, the school is an integral part of St. Joseph Health Services of Rhode Island. It aims to prepare aspiring nurses like you with the theories, skills and competencies to be an effective entry level professional nurse. So that in turn, you will be promoting and restoring health in acute, chronic, and community health care settings in a changing environment.

Enroll in its 3-year program leading to a diploma in nursing and benefit from its cost-effective, quality education program. Your academic preparation is drawn from the courses taken up at the School of Nursing and affiliating colleges.
