15258 State Route 170, East Liverpool, OH

The Trinity Health System School of Nursing was founded in 1912 and was previously named as the Ohio Valley Hospital School of Nursing. Its name was changed to Training School for Women Nurses in 1915. However, it was only in 1996 when the school was renamed to Trinity Health System School of Nursing after it was affiliated with the Ohio Valley Hospital and the St. John Medical Center. Currently, the school is operated by Sylvania Franciscan Health – a Catholic private sector made up of the Sister of St. Francis in Sylvania.

The goal of the Trinity Health System School of Nursing is to prepare nurses to work in a competitive environment. The programs offered by the school assist individual students so that they can achieve success in each curriculum taught in school.

The school offers a 24-month diploma of nursing education and is accredited with the Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and the Veterans Education. Moreover, the school is also affiliated with the Helene Fuld Health Trust thus making it as one of the premier nursing schools in Ohio.

The 24-month curriculum in Trinity Health System School of Nursing is $180 per credit thus students pay around $6,300 for two semesters. The tuition fee is still not inclusive of general fees and the laboratory fee. Nevertheless, the school offers the cheapest tuition fee rate for the nursing program in Ohio.
