Mercer County Career Center (MCCC) is located in Mercer, PA. The MCCC mission is to equip students with marketable skills through effective career and technical education. MCCC is accredited by MSA, ISO, and The Middle States Association.

MCCC offers certifications in the following secondary programs:

WCCC offers two continuing education certificates:

  • Emission Testing
  • Practical Nursing

The Emissions Inspector Certification/Recertification Course is a home study training program. This training program is available via a three to four hour web-based course. Final exam is taken at MCCC.

The Practical Nursing Program is 1500 hours. Full-time programs are available. Theory and clinical experiences are taught concurrently. Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate is eligible to sit for the practical nursing licensure exam. Licensed graduates may seek employment in a variety of health care settings.

Mercer County Career Center participates in the Federal Pell Grant, Stafford Loans (subsidized and unsubsidized) and the Parent Plus Loan.  To become eligible for financial aid, the student must demonstrate financial need. For more information concerning tuition, program curriculums, and services please visit the MCCC website at: http://www.mccc.tec.pa.us.
