Putnam Career and Technical Center (PCTC)

PCTC strives to provide students a solid foundation for life-long learning, enabling them to become contributing, responsible, successful citizens in a diverse and changing world.

PCTC is small, with only around 200 students. This gives students the individualized attention that is crucial to success. PCTC is accredited by the North Central Association of College and Schools as well as by the West Virginia State Department of Education. They have also been approved by the Board of Education both at a state a local level.

PCTC has a wide variety of programs to offer its students. These programs include:

  • Automotive Technology

After finishing a program at PCTC, students can use the school’s job search feature to help with immediate employment in their field of study. The school works hard to help students find jobs upon completion of their programs.
