
Tri County Regional Vocational Technical High School is located in Franklin, MA. Tri-County’s mission is to provide an excellent comprehensive technical and academic education. While Tri-County primarily caters to secondary education, some adult programs are being offered as listed below:
- Cosmetology
- Practical Nursing and Certified Nursing
Day and evening courses are available for Cosmetology. Additional courses include manicuring and aesthetics. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. The full course of instruction consists of 1,000 hours as required by the MA State Board of Registration of Hairdressers. Students are given the chance to exercise their knowledge of cosmetology when the school is open to the public during various times of the year. Credits can be transferred to other schools. Tri-County offers both a one-year day and a two-year evening practical nursing program, fully approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. These programs are designed to prepare the graduate for competent, ethical, entry-level practice in the care of diverse populations with common or stable health care needs in structured health care settings. Graduates receive a certificate indicating successful completion of the Practical Nursing Program. After completion of the program, the graduates are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN exam for licensure.
